Drew's Devious Decadence 10-cigar sampler for $39.99

$39.99 · 64% off... BLACKENED, Undercrown, Deadwood Dominicana in the box

Ten Drew Estate sticks at four bucks each, and the names in the box are their real lines, not shelf-fillers. 'While supplies last' is doing its usual work, but the price is definite. A reasonable way to tour Drew Estate without committing to a box.

Accessory clearance from 99¢, up to 90% off

From 99¢ · Xikar, Vertigo, Stinky, Cigar Oasis

Cutters, lighters, travel humidors and golf-ball markers with a real 99-cent floor anchoring the 'up to 90%.' Xikar at clearance money is the interesting part... I reviewed the Xikar Xi2 cutter and it earned its keep, though I haven't smoked-tested whatever specific SKUs are in this sale.

Free cognac with box purchase · while supplies last

A gift-with-purchase, not a price cut... the box is full price and the bottle rides along. The Gran Elefante is a Corona exclusive size of Sin Compromiso. Definite and specific, so it clears the bar; whether it's a deal depends on how the box price sits with you.

Nub and Cain 10-packs from $3.75 a stick, up to 64% off

From $3.75 a stick · select Nub and Cain 10-packs

Oliva's stubby 60-ring project and its fuller-bodied Cain sibling at under four bucks a stick. 'Select' is doing some work... it's their pick of sizes, not the whole catalog. At this money they're rotation smokes, priced accordingly.

Horn O' Plenty: name-brand selections at $3.45 a cigar

$3.45 a stick · Oliva, Rocky Patel, Drew Estate and more

A rotating grab of name-brand overstock at a hard $3.45. Cigar Page says these are front-line blends rather than benchwarmers; that's their claim. The price is the fact.

From $45 a box · Dedicacion, Dedicacion Habano, St. Francis, St. Francis Colorado

Boutique brand founded by a CAO alum and rolled at Rocky Patel's TAVICUSA factory... their history, worth knowing. At $45 a box, the cost of trying a boutique line doesn't get much lower. They say it runs 'a coupla days'; no hard date given.

5-Pack Feeding Frenzy: big-brand fivers at $19.99 or less

$19.99 or less per 5-pack

The hard $19.99 cap is what makes this legitimate... four bucks a stick, tops, across a rotating pool of name brands. A standing fixture at Cigar Place; the pool changes, the cap doesn't.

Oliva Connecticut Reserve Toro 55% off

55% off

Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper from Oliva's mellow end... a morning smoke. To be clear, this is not the Serie V I reviewed; different line entirely, so no verdict travels with it.

200+ box deals up to 89% off, with a $1.49-a-cigar floor

As low as $1.49 a cigar · Ashton, Arturo Fuente, My Father, Oliva, Perdomo and more in the pool

Holt's weekly storewide event, and the $1.49 floor is what separates it from their usual unanchored 'up to' bait. Big names in the pool, but the $1.49 sticks won't be the Fuentes. It dies at 9 AM tomorrow, so this is a tonight decision.

Machine-made bulk smokes at pocket-change money... lawn-mowing inventory, not a humidor purchase. The 20% and the 57-cent floor are both definite, which is more than most of Thompson's mail manages.
